Let’s meet the Characters in the fiction story, Wives of the South.

We would be showing you into the lives of six fantastic female chatacters in the fiction today and they are:

1. ESE ELEBE

The main character. A lawyer and mother of five year old Maxwell. An author and childhood friend and colleague to Bamidele. She is a confidant for both her friends, Otonye and Nkeni.

Conflict: Her decision to divorce Elebe for infidelity and bury her love for Bamidele so it doesn’t ruin her present home.

2. OTONYE OBONG

The bossy lady who happens to be on the board of company. A confidant to the main character, Ese.

Conflict: Her major fears hover around the abusive nature of her husband, infertility issues and of being displaced due to an opposition in her company.

3. NKENI CHIGEMEZU

The carefree and flirty lady who is the CEO of her hair business and salon.
She’s the comic in their friend circle, wife to Chigemezu and Mother to Eno.

Conflict: Her past way ward life which made her give birth to a child outside wedlock and her attempt to bury the secret.

4. CAROLINE DAMIAN

The classy and pompous lady. A wife to Damian, a pastor and a strong opposition to Otonye in the company over rumours of cheating with her husband. Also, a friend to Belema, Bamidele’s wife.

Conflict: Her inability to keep her marriage intact with Damian. Her infidelity with Ayo tearing her marriage further and her rivalry with Otonye, her husband’s supposed cheat partner.

5. BELEMA BAMIDELE

The calm, humble and wise lady.
A wife to Bamidele, Ese’s childhood friend and a friend to Caroline.

Conflict: Her fears of her husband cheating on her with Ese, his childhood friend.

6. WEYEMI AYO

A verbose and loud lady. Wife to Ayo and Side chic to Elebe, Ese’s husband.

Conflict: Her desire to out smart Ese and get Elebe for herself.
