BOOK REVIEW – WHERE’S YOUR FAITH

BOOK REVIEW

Where is your Faith By Kudabo Victory.

“Why was the doctor harsh?” Kike thought.

“Tears has never provided a solution either
for me doctor, I would rather hope in a
miracle than have a moistened eyes filled
with pain and anguish.”

The novel, ‘Where is your Faith’ not only teaches us to have thicker skins but also not to lose faith in God.

Kike, the main character in the novel is still recovering from the shock of the fatal accident of her husband while trying to recuperate from the sudden demise of her father.

This is what makes for this statement that regards the doctor as harsh for disclosing the appalling state of her husband.

Her husband has been declared brain dead and all her doctor suggested is for the life support of her husband be taken away since he is already in a state of comatose.

The statement further reveals Kike’s position on the matter. It tells us that She’s brave and won’t entertain any doubts or fears.

A miracle is what she believes strongly would happen even when all hope is lost.

The message of the novel is however, timely. One mustn’t give up when passing through difficult times.

Though remaining positive in times like this is a herculean task, but that’s the trade mark of people who are successful.

The story is structured in a way that allows the events flow effortlessly.

From an early point in the story, a reader gets absorbed in the whole story as the main action kicks off in the first chapter.

The human condition of hopelessness is explored alongside medical terms and techniques that best explains the hopelessness.

The author in this novel was able to educate us on the implications of a Brain damage or brain dead situation.

It also reveals the prowess of the author in capturing the minds of her readers in such a way that they care for the characters plights and needs.

At the end of the day, this piece would be a good investment of your time.
