NENGIYE KALIO

First, Let’s deal with the major conflict which is the stereotyping of the main character.

A stereotype is a fixed general image or set of characteristics that a lot of people believe represent a particular type of person or thing as referenced by collins dictionary.

So you can guess what she encountered choosing to wear natural dreadlocks.

First off, her boss tells her straight off to do away with her dreads without any sense of empathy.

Next, her friend Nana, suggests she may turn off to be a bad influence on the kids she’s coaching constantly appearing before them with dreads on.

Interestingly, the cliff is when she’s being regarded by a stranger as one with no sense in her head because of her natural dreads.

NANA OGAN

A Blossom friend to Nengi.

Conflict: While offering Nengi solace, decides to keep a crazy secret from her.

GRACE WALTERS

Previously friend to Nengi but later turned key antagonist.
